KCP backs 'War on Drugs' campaign

The armed Kangleipak Communist Party (KCP-Taibanganba group) said that the outfit will openly support 'War on Drugs' being declared by Manipur government and join anti-drug campaign being launched since the year 2018 to completely uproot drugs from Manipur.
According to a statement of KCP-Taibanganba group, it launched a campaign called 'Operation on eradication of public enemy' in 2017 with the main objective to uproot drugs from the society, uphold rights of the people and expose crimes particularly corruption.
'Drugs' and 'illegal immigrants' are two big issues Manipur is currently confronted with and people need to thoroughly understand origin of both issues and fight it effectively.
Under the campaign to uproot drugs, KCP-Taibanganba asked individuals involved in drug and poppy business to surrender within 10 days.
