Flag price Rs 10K in Lamlai: Kangleipal

Imphal, December 22 2021: Intending candidate in Lamlai assembly constituency Sapamcha Kangleipal has claimed that price of a flag has reached Rs 10,000 in Lamlai assembly constituency as poll campaign activities intensified.

Addressing a press meet at Manipur Press Club here on Wednesday, Kangleipal said that muscle and money power are taking centre stage in Lamlai assembly constituency.

There is a trend of organising feast, distributing cash and providing Rs 10,000 for hoisting a flag, which is very unfortunate.

While stating that such as trend is not healthy, he called upon the public to stay away from such unhealthy activities and exercise their voting rights wisely.

Kangleipal then demanded the sitting MLA of the constituency to complete all the ongoing construction works of community halls before the election commission issues poll notification.
