Relief items handed over in Khundrakpam A/C

Imphal, May 20 2021: Khundrakpam Kendra Development Committee under the aegis of MLA, Th Lokeshwar distributed relief items to around 37 households in the containment zones of Khundrakpam Assembly Constituency today.

The relief items to households at Lamboikhul, Sawombung, Waiton and Awang Ngairangbam.

Speaking on the sidelines, spokesperson of Khundrakpam Kendra Development Committee, Nongthombam Dijen appealed to all to avoid social gathering of any kind and to strictly adhere to SOPs laid down by the Government while performing any rituals at home in order to fight against the second wave of the COVID-19.Further he urged the Government to provide the grants under the various schemes of the Government to the beneficiaries in time in order to provide some relief to the people who have been impacted by COVID-19 pandemic and are going through a difficult time.

Also he sought the attention of the Government and to look into the matter where many are suffering due to lack of proper medical treatment.
