Imphal, May 17 2022: In connection with the observance of 'World Hypertension Day', Society for Health and Education organised a free medical camp at Pangaiba community hall, Khundrakpam on Tuesday.

Speaking at the event, Society for Health and Education president Dr Ksh Kala informed that the theme of 'World hypertension day' for this year is 'measure your blood pressure accurately, control it and live longer' .

He appealed to the people for checking blood-pressure regularly.

Around 300 people had their BP, blood sugar level, thyroid, KFT, nerve function, ECG and eye sight examined at the camp held under the supervision of 20 doctors, nurses, Asha workers, medical representatives and paramedical staffers.

Medicines were also distributed to the attendees free of cost.
