AR organises cleanliness drive

Noney, June 13 2022: In consonance with government policies, Noney Battalion of 22 Sector Assam Rifles and Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) organised a cleanliness drive at Kaengbiangpang village in Noney district on Monday.

The objective of the cleanliness drive was to generate awareness and bring about a behavioural change regarding sanitation practices and augmentation of capacity at the local level.

Troops of Khongsang Temporary Operating Base briefed the villagers about the benefits of keeping the surrounding neat and clean including proper segregation and disposal of solid waste.

Locals including children along with the troops of Khongsang Temporary Operating Base participated in cleanliness drive at village area.

The village chairman and other village authorities also joined the drive and requested for organising such enlightening and educative event in future also.
