Imphal, November 12 2021: A five-day faculty development programme on 'Competency enhancement in agricultural research and education for the faculty of CAU, Imphal' organised by directorate of extension education, CAU Imphal under the sponsorship of ICAR-National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad concluded at the university campus here on Friday.

Former CAU vice-chancellor professor M Premjit attended the closing ceremony as chief guest.

CAU Imphal director (research) Dr S Basanta, CAU Imphal College of Food Technology dean Dr Ng Joykumar, ICAR-National Academy Hyderabad principal scientist Dr M Balakrishnan and CAU directorate of extension education director and programme coordinator professor Phurailatpam Ranjit were also present on the occasion.

Altogether 40 faculties in the rank of scientist and assistant professor from 16 constituent colleges of CAU Imphal, KVKs, MTTCs and VTCs participated in the faculty development programme.
