Imphal, August 08 2024: Federation of Haomee along with different communities filed FIRs against one Paominlen Haokip of Committee on Protection of Tribal Areas Manipur at five police stations for his alleged plot to balkanise Manipur.

In a release, FoH vice president Dr K Heera Kabui denounced the memorandum sent by Paominlen Haokip to National Commission for Scheduled Tribes, Delhi chairman demanding separate administration/union territory with legislature for Kukis and wrongful inclusion of Maring, Kom, Aimol, Thangal, Purum, Chiru and Koiren villages as Kuki Hills villages and making false claim that the territorial area of Manipur during the merger with India was only 700 square miles with the remaining outer Manipur settled by Kukis.

As such, FoH along with different communities filed FIRs against Paominlen at Yaingangpokpi, Lamlai, Lamsang, Irilbung police stations and Imphal West police station for his attempt to create enmity among the indigenous communities.
