Workshop on 'Khubak Esei' concludeds

Thoubal, July 03 2022: A 20-day workshop on 'Khubak Esei', which was organised by Apunba Inat Silon Lup, Lilong Chajing Mamang Leikai Heining Makhong from June 14 at the local community hall ended on Sunday.

The closing function of the workshop was attended by BJP Langthabal Mandal president M Joykumar, Art & Culture Department deputy director (programme) Dharmadas Sharma, RED EE P Rajen and Lilong Municipal Council Ward No 5 councillor A Omilla as presidium members.

Later, the participants of the workshop presented their performances.

Speaking on the occasion, Lup founder Maibam Panthoibi Chanu informed that the workshop was organised without any funding from Sangeet Natak Akademi or from Union Ministry of Culture and was sponsored privately.

She also mentioned that more such programmes for preserving state's tradition and culture and to promote budding artistes will be conducted in future.
