Legal awareness prog organised

Imphal, October 31 2021: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Imphal West under the aegis of Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) organised a one-day legal awareness cum interaction programme on the topic of 'Closing of Schools Due to Covid: Concern of Parents and students' at Awang Sekmai community hall on Sunday.

The programme was inaugurated by Manipur High Court Justice Kh Nobin and attended by District and Sessions Judge, Imphal West A Guneshwar, Civil Judge Senior Division Khwairakpam Nirojit, Sekmai Legal Aid Clinic PLVs, students and parents.

JNIMS nutritionist Dr Ng Bembem, Clinical Psychologist Anuradha Ngangom and career counsellor Sanjenbam Silomi were present as resource persons.

Speaking at the event, Justice Kh No-bin elaborated on the main points of the legal awareness programme while Dr Ng Bembem spoke about the key nutritional foods which could help prevent diseases.

Anuradha Ngangom stressed that students should spend limited screen time in view of the ongoing online classes due to the pandemic.

Sanjenbam Silomi emphasised the need for students to opt for careers of their choice and further explained how students could choose their preferred careers.
