NCC commander brigadier SR Sharma visits Sainik School

Imphal, July 23 2024: National Cadet Corps Group HQs, Imphal group commander brigadier SR Sharma visited Sainik School, Imphal on Tuesday.

According to PRO Defence, Sainik School, Imphal officiating principal lieutenant colonel Satish Kumar Singh briefed SR Sharma on the school, training activities of NCC cadets and preparation for the upcoming NCC 'B'-Certificate Examination.

The group commander appreciated the smooth conduct of the 'C'-Certificate Examination recently held at the school and also inspected the school and the ongoing infrastructure development.

The release further mentioned that during the tour, the group commander addressed and motivated over 400 cadets including 39 girl cadets and shared an insight about the glorious history and role of Indian Armed Forces in national security.

He also felicitated the academic and administrative staff of the school for their dedication and selfless service, it said.
