Imphal, August 21 2021: United Committee Manipur (UCM) and Apunba Ema Emoinu Thouni Lup jointly organised a one-day farmers' training programme on the theme 'Rejuvenate Farm Economy and Self Reliance' at Yaingangpokpi village community hall on Saturday.

The programme was attended by Telou Chana Seijang GP pradhan H Nimai, UCM president Joychandra Konthoujam and YVC chairman Th Itochoubi as presidium members while plant pathology Tayenjam Dipu, MSc Soil Science T Sanahanbi and Ayurvedic physician Dr Th Ritamadhuri were the resource persons.

Speaking at the programme, Joychandra Konthoujam informed that the programme was conducted after discussing with agriculture department to improve economy of the state which has been affected by Covid-19 pandemic.

Urging all to join hands for enhancing food production and make Manipur self-reliant, Joychandra assured of extending all possible help in this regard.
