Imphal, September 20 2021: BJP Manipur Pradesh Mahila Morcha led by its president L Loteeka Leima visited Chanura Leikol Children Home at Khurai Kongpal Laishram Leikai and distributed sanitary pads and edibles to the adolescent girl children of the welfare home on Monday.

The programme was organised as part of the Seva Aur Samarpan Abhiyan, which is a nation-wide 20-day campaign being held to celebrate PM Narendra Modi's birthday and completion of 20 years of public service.

The Seva Aur Samarpan Abhiyan was kick-started on PM Modi's birthday on September 17 .

The pogramme of distribution of sanitary napkins was organised to promote health, hygiene and general welfare of the adolescent girls and women.

During the distribution programme, Loteeka Leima also imparted awareness on menstrual hygiene to the adolescent girls of the home.

Further, she also interacted with the young girls and enquired about their needs arid requirements and assured to extend help in the future.
