Noney, April 20 2022: A Block Health Mela was jointly organised by the district administration and District Health Society at Khoupum PHC, Noney district on Wednesday.

SDO Khoupum James Panii, KAVAC secretary (Health) Kadongai Panmei and CMO Dr Edwin Golmei were respectively chief guest, guest of honour and president of the inaugural function of the fair during which more than 200 people availed free medicines in addition to blood and sugar test facilities.

A nutrition food stall was also opened by the ICDS project and a lecture programme on the intake of nutritious foods was conduct -ed by the subject experts.

A CMHT and PMJAY health card enrolment drive was also conducted by the officials of District-Health Society, Noney District.

The programme was attended by DLOs, ASHA workers, ASHA facilitators and Anganwadi workers.
