Army launches 'Abhilasha - Career Guidance Sessions'

Indian Army, in collaboration with a Pune-based NGO Aseem Foundation, announced the launch of Abhilasha - Career Guidance Sessions' in Leimakhong.
These online counselling sessions, will be conducted monthly by subject matter experts to provide students of classes 9 to 12 with valuable insight into various career options across different streams, said PRO Defence.
First counselling session on 'Careers in Medicine' was held on Monday for over 100 students of villages in Leimakhong area under Kangpokpi district, as well as students of KV Leimakhong.
The day's session was conducted online by Dr Amruta Am-bekar, MBBS, DNB (ENT), and Dr Aditi Sethiya, BHMS, MD.The students gained valuable knowledge about pursuing a career in the medical field, the PRO further informed in a release.
"The aim of these sessions is to create awareness about diverse career paths and the opportunities available to the youth and the counselling sessions are designed accordingly to guide and inspire students to explore and pursue careers in different fields," it said.
