Interaction programme with AR commandant held

The United College in Chandel district organised a one-day interaction programme featuring Colonel Amit Vijay Mane, commandant of the 21 Assam Rifles posted at Pallel, and the students of the College.
The programme, held in the Science seminar hall on Saturday, was jointly organised by the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit and the National Cadet Corps (NCC) of the College.
According to statement of the college, the session provided an opportunity for meaningful engagement, particularly addressing the inquiries of NCC cadets.
Colonel Amit Vijay Mane delivered an informative lecture on various career opportunities available in the Indian Army and answered numerous questions raised by the attendees.
He encouraged the students to think big, put in greater effort, and strive for success in their lives.
As a gesture of goodwill, the commandant presented a friendship memento to the College.
College principal Dr BD expressed his gratitude to Colonel Mane for dedicating his time to interact with the students.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff, making it a significant occasion for the College community, the statement added.
