'Meet Coy commander', cleanliness prog held

On November 8, Assam Rifles organised 'A Day with Company Commander' at Rana Top, bringing together locals from Aishi and Khulmunlen villages, Chandel district for a day of engagement and entertainment.
In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the event featured a dog show and various fun games designed for participants of all ages.
The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony for the winners of the games.
Over 50 individuals from the local communities attended, it said.
Meanwhile, Assam Rifles spearheaded a social service camp as part of the 'Clean Lilong, Clean Manipur' campaign, running from September 30 to November 10 .
According to the PRO, the campaign led by the Lilong United Club, a coalition of 54 youth clubs, had active participation of 300 civilians alongside a large number of AR personnel.
During the campaign, AR provided essential sanitation supplies to address the community's cleanliness needs, while AR officials emphasised the importance of maintaining a clean environment and highlighted the collective effort required to combat drug abuse and extortion in the region.
The PRO also informed that in addition to the cleanliness drive, discussions were held on pre-recruitment training programmes aimed at supporting local youth interested in joining the armed forces.
