Singhat MLA Haupu inaugurates MAYWO playground

CCpur, December 06 2021: Singhat MLA GS Haupu inaugurated Makhau Area Youth Welfare Organisation (MAYWO) playground and kicked off a football tournament at M Bungmol village on Monday.

The inauguration event was also attended by ADGP Clay Khongsai, special contractor P Tongthang Zou and ex-MDC Tongkhokai Baite among others.

During his speech, GS Haupu highlighted some development works he initiated for the areas and said that construction of a local market shed at the cost of more than Rs 3 crore would begin soon and it has already been included in his work programme.

He also assured to provide rooftop solar light for the playground so that player could play after dusk.

He also declared that he is the Chikim (a candidate for all) and would take up development works to the best of his ability for the benefit of one and all irrespective caste, clan and tribes.

In his speech, Clay Khongsai reminded the community settling in the areas about the need to live together with other communities in harmony.
