COVID-19 mass vaccination conducted at various places

Jrm/Kak/Tnp/Tbl, June 25 2021: In continuation of the COVID-19 preventive measures and as directed by the State Government, mass Covid vaccination was carried out at Kashimpur HS; Bhawmikpara LP School, Borobekra and Mullargao LP School in Jiribam district today.

During the drive, a total of 534 persons were vaccinated including 399 persons of the age group 18-44 years; 114 persons of the age group 45-60 years; 16 persons above the age of 60 years while 5 persons received the second dose of Covid vaccine.

It may be mentioned that mass vaccination would be also conducted tomorrow at Jairolpokpi Community hall, Durgapur Health & Wellness Centre and Ahmedabad High School.

Moreover, mass Covid vaccinations were also organised at Nungphou LP School, Netaji High School Jakuradhor, Chhotobekra (Sotobekra) Bazar in Jiribam district yesterday.

A total of 699 people were vaccinated including 484 persons of the age group 18-44 years; 186 persons of the age group 45-60 years and 29 persons above the age of 60 years.

KAKCHING
Likewise, Kakching District Task Force and Educated Youth Multipurpose Development Association (EYMDA), Wabagai Mayai Leikai under the supervision of Kakching CMO, Dr Th Raj en also organised a mass Covid vaccination at EYMDA Ground today.

During the vaccination drive participated by Dr Th Rajen and MO, Dr E Kiran, a total of 200 people were vaccinated.

Speaking on the occasion, Task Force convenor, M Manishwar Khuman appealed to the people to come forward for the vaccination and get themselves tested for COVID-19 to successfully tackle the dreaded pandemic.

TENGNOUPAL
as directed by the State Government, mass Covid vaccination drive to be carried out till June 30 was launched at Moreh today.

A Mass vaccination drive was organised by Tamil Sangam, Moreh at its Conference Hall today.

It was conducted by a medical team led by Primary health Centre Moreh MO in charge, Dr Kh Shanti Kumar.

THOUBAL
District Administration Thoubal and District Health Society Thoubal also organised mass Covid vaccination drives at 11 places of the district today including 3 permanent centres - Thoubal District Hospital, CHC Yairipok and Lilong CHC.

It may be mentioned that, Thoubal Deputy Commissioner, Ramnangmei Rang Peter went around and inspected the mass vaccination drive.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramnangmei Rang Peter stated that the vaccination drive would be conducted in association with the SDOs, BDOs, members & pradhans of Gram Panchayat.

A total of 965 persons were vaccinated during the drive.
