COVID-19 mass vaccination drives conducted

Imphal, June 24 2021: Mass vaccination drives for COVID-19 were conducted at different places in a bid to protect the people from the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

Khurai
Mass vaccination programmes for COVID-19 were held at Moirang Kampu Awang Leikai Puri Puraba Community hall today in Khurai Assembly Constituency today organised by District Administration Imphal East and CMO Imphal East under the guidance of L Susindro, MLA of Khurai AC.

The MLA inspected the vaccination programme and distributed 5 kgs of rice each to those who came to get the vaccine.

Speaking on the sidelines, L Susindro said that mass vaccination drive are being conducted with an aim to protect the people from COVID-19 and appealed to all to get vaccinated without any fear.

He further appealed to inform him if any individual is not willing to take the vaccine so that he can try and convince them.

Expression concern on the identification of new variants of COVID-19 namely Delta and Delta plus variants, he urged all to be extra cautious to avoid the worst outcome of third wave of COVID-19 .

Yaiskul
Under the aegis of Th Satyabrata, CAF and PD Minister, a Covid vaccination drive was conducted at Wangkhei Puja Lampak in Yaiskul AC .

The vaccination drive was organised by District Administration Imphal East, CMO Imphal East and YVO Wangkhei in association with Thokchom Govind, member of MC Ward no 19 .

Around 120 individuals were vaccinated in today's vaccination drive.
