Tata rolls out Punch SUV in state

Imphal, November 19 2021: Tata Motor's has formally rolled out its new micro-SUV Tata Punch in Imphal on Friday.

Young badminton player Maisnam Meiraba Luwang launched the car at Tiddim Motor showroom, Sangaiprou in the presence of Tiddim Motors principal dealer Philem Rajesh, SBI secretariat branch assistant manager Ksh Shanta and Tiddim Motors general manager Harkirat Singh Jassal.

Philem Rajesh and Meiraba Luwang handed over keys to the first six customers of the new micro SUV at the launch event.

Tata Punch is available in four trims - Pure, Adventure, Accomplished and Creative.

Powered by 86 hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine, it is available in seven paint shades - Tornedo Blue, Calypso Red, Meteor Bronze, Atomic Orange, Tropical Mist, Dayto-na Grey and Orcus White.

The micro SUV has 5-star adult protection and 4-star child protection rating in the global New Car Assessment Programme (NCAP) crash test.

The ex-showroom price of the car begins from Rs 5,61,900 and goes all the way up to Rs 8,61,900 .
