Imphal, May 19 2022: North Eastern Development Finance Corporation Limited (NEDFi) organised a Business Meet and Awareness Programme 2022 at Classic Grande, Chingmeirong here on Thursday.

The programme was attended by NEDFi chairman & managing director PVSLN Murty; Manipur University, Manipur Institute of Management Studies (MIMS) Professor W Ibohal; Babina Group of Companies chairman & MD Dr Thangjam Dhabali; UNACCO chairman N Irabanta and NEDFi executive director SK Baruah as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, PVSLN Murty informed that NEDFi has been funding entrepreneurs in Assam and Manipur the most among the north-eastern states.

The Corporation is planning to give additional attention to MSMEs and artisans, for which more funding will be provided.

Dr Thangjam Dhabali and N Irabanta narrated their experiences op how they established their respective companies, while also giving motivation to the emerging entrepreneurs of the state.

In his speech, MU Professor W Ibohal gave numerous suggestions to the entrepreneurs on how to make their ventures successful.
