Family suspects foul play in man's death

Jiribam, January 18 2022: The bereaved family of Joinal Uddin has appealed to the people and organisations in Jiribam for help in finding facts about the suspicious death of Joinal Uddin, who was found hanging from a tree at Lalpani, Jiribam on January 14 .

Speaking to media persons at Lalpani Part-II residence of Joinal Uddin Monday, his uncle Md Moin recounted said that Joinal (33) returned to Jiribam from Imphal on January 13 .

On the same day, he went out from home after receiving a phone call only for some people to find his body hanging from the next morning.

Stating that the death is suspicious, Md Moin Uddin informed that a case has been registered at Jiribam district police in this regard.

He urged the people and organisations to help in finding the truth about the suspicious death of his nephew.
