Relay hunger strike completes one month

The relay hunger strike organised by Uripok Apunba Lup and Uripok Nupi Apunba Lup at Uripok Canteen Crossing, demanding arrest of all those involved in the abduction and merciless killing of six individuals including children in Jiribam, completed one month on Monday.
In a release, Uripok Apunba Lup publicity secretary Chingthang Nambam said that the relay hunger strike completed the 31st day on Monday.
In the morning, visually impaired individuals joined the strike, while members of Uripok Gopalji Leirak Club and Brilliant Club, Shamushang continued the agitation in the evening and night sessions respectively.
To mark the one-month long relay hunger strike, a candlelight vigil was held in the evening.
The protesters raised their voices, chanting slogans such as "The culprits should be booked immediately", "Kuki Terrorists Down Down" and "Long live Manipur" .
