Workshop on 'Moirang Parva' from June 19

Imphal, June 13 2022: Manipur State Shumang Leela Council in coordination with Theatre Mirror Manipur will be organising a month-long theatre workshop based on Moirang Parva at Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen, Palace compound here.

According to Council's lifetime secretary Sougrakpam Hemanta, the workshop will begin from June 19 and training will be provided to artistes who want to join Shumang Leela.

Workshop's project director Padmashree Naba Warrepa said that the workshop will be conducted as part of Azaki Ka Amrit Mahotsav being celebrated throughout the country to commemorate 75th year of India's independence.

He also said that individuals fond of Shumang Leela and want to join the indigenous art form may join the workshop, details of which could had from Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen.
