Thoubal, March 13 2025: Association of Voluntary Blood Donation Manipur (AVBDM), Thoubal District Branch will be organising a "Mega Voluntary Blood Donation Awareness Campaign cum Camp" in connection with the 134th celebration of Khongjom Day on April 23, 2025 .

In a release, secretary of AVBDM, Nabakumar TC informed that the blood donation camp will be held on April 23, 2025 from 9 am to 12 noon at the Khongjom War Memorial Complex.

The camp will be conducted in collaboration with District Police HQ Thoubal, Khangabok, District Health Society, Thoubal, IRCS Thoubal, NYK Thoubal, Waikhom Mani Girls' College Thoubal, LIONS Club of Greater Thoubal Centurion, Voluntary Donor Group Manipur, Sur Hospital Khangabok, Kanglei Chanura Imphal, AVBDM Thoubal branch, Department of Transfusion Medicine, RIMS Blood Centre & Transfusion Unit, JNIMS and District Hospital Thoubal, Khangabok.

In this connection, a total number of 150 blood donors are set to donate blood on this day, said Nabakumar in a release.
