BSF reaches out through mobile KPKB outlets

BSF battalions deployed in the state, under the aegis of BSF Sector HQ Manipur and BSF Frontier HQ, Masimpur (Assam), reached out to relief camps through mobile Subsidiary Bhandar (SB) under Kendriya Police Kalyan Bhandar (KPKB) at various places under their area of deployment on Friday.
In a release, Frontier HQ BSF M&C PRO informed that SB mobile outlets were stationed at different places at Moirangpurel Boys' Hostel, Imphal East district by 29 Bn BSF; Mangolnganbi College relief camp, Ningthoukhong, Bishnupur district by 10 Bn BSF; relief camp at Sugnu & Serou, Kakching district by 131 Bn BSF; and Jalenbung village, Ukhrul district by 37 Bn BSF.
The subsidiary KPKB outlets for civil population were started on September 17 at eight places in the by BSF to ensure unhindered supply of essential commodities in remote areas at reasonable prices, it added.
The release further mentioned that presently, eight KPKB outlets are regularly being run by different BSF battalions at CI Post Wangjing Tekcham, Thoubal district by 10 Bn BSF; Trade Centre, Moreh, Tengnoupal district by D/90 Bn BSF; CI Post Lamlai, Imphal East district by 29 Bn BSF; DC Office, Kakching by E/107 Bn BSF; Khoibu, Tengnoupal district by G/93 BN BSF; Doctor's Quarter Sugnu, Kakching district by A/131 BN BSF; and Mahadev, PS Litan, Ukhrul district by C/40 Bn BSF.
