Death anniversary of Thuingang Thomas held

The Poumai Naga Catholic Me (PNCM) in collaboration with the Senapati District Catholic Union (SDCU), commemorated the 50th anniversary of the martyrdom of Late SP Thuinganing Thomas at the SP Thuinganing Thomas Shrine in Ngari Raidulomai (Lower) Village under Phaibung sub-division.
The occasion revolved around the theme: "I will not renounce my Catholic faith even if I have to die," reflecting the unyielding faith and courage that defined the life of the martyr.
Most Rev Dr James Thoppil, DD, Bishop of Kohima, Nagaland, unveiled the memorial stone symbolizing the enduring legacy of the martyr.
The ceremony was followed by a heartfelt welcome address from Rev Fr Francis Nganingmi, setting a tone of reverence and unity for the gathering.
The event served as a powerful reminder of the enduring legacy of SP Thuinganing Thomas.
