Assam Rifles organises medical camp

Senapati, July 03 2022: Maram Battalion of Jwalamukhi Sector organised a free medical camp for villagers of R Solophe and Chawainu under Mao sub-division on Saturday.

A dedicated team of medical staff provided necessary medical treatment to 70 locals.

Free medicines, hygiene and sanitation items were distributed during the medical camp and the locals were also educated on various life style disease and ill effects of drug/alcohol abuse.

Village authorities present on the occasion applauded the efforts and requested such camps be organised on regular basis.

In the difficult times of monsoon, a lot of health issues come up which need some basic medical attention.

Thus, the medical check-up followed by general medicines and advisory on monsoon was very beneficial to the villagers.

The effort of the unit was to reach out to the population was well appreciated by the locals and wished for continuing such noble gestures.
