CCpur DC visits Khuga Dam relief camp

CCpur, June 03 2024: Churachandpur deputy commissioner Dharun Kumar visited Khuga Dam relief camp from 10am on Monday and had lunch with the displaced people.

The DC also gave away gifts to residents of the relief camp where around 180 people displaced by the ongoing violence are currently sheltered.

The relief camp is being managed by Relief Committee Young Vaiphei Associations (YVA) general headquarter.

During the visit, DC Dharun Kumar was accompanied by ADC Thangboi Gangte, SDO Ccpur, CEO of Autonomous District Council Churachandpur Lathazam, SDC Lianminthang along with relief committee members of Young Vaiphei Associations (YVA) .

The Relief Committee YVA appreciated the DC for visiting the camp while Dharun Kumar promised to help the relief camp in-charge in making drainage and other facilities to make the camp a batter place to stay.
