Imphal, February 01 2023: A four-day training programme on integrated farming system, organised by Federation of Civil Society Organisation, Manipur (FOCS) in association with Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Imphal East at the hall of Maharaj Garibniwaz Memorial Club, Wangkhei Ningthem Pukhri Mapal from January 28, concluded on Tuesday.

In all, 92 trainees from Manipur (Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Chandel, Bishnupur and Tengnoupal districts) and Cachar district of Assam attended the programme.

During the programme, subject experts and scientists, namely Pureiromba Firm Private Ltd managing director Angom Punil Kumar spoke on topics related to mushroom cultivation; KVK, Imphal East SMS (Agronomy) Nandini Chongtham on vermicomposting and organic manure; and KVK, Imphal East SMS (Fisheries) on scientific fish farming.
