Intending candidate Hi Jadumani joins JD-U

Thoubal, January 31 2022: BJP intending candidate in Khangabok assembly constituency Thokchom Jadumani on Monday joined Janata Dal (United) and was welcomed to the party with presentation of a stole by JD (U) general secretary Afaque Ahamed Khan.

Speaking at the reception function held at Khangabok Mayai Leikai, Afaque Ahmed Khan expressed that it is a matter of pride that a much-loved and respected leader like Th Jadumani has joined the party which is led by Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar.

He asserted that JD (U) will either form or be a part of the next government in the state.

The programme was also attended by JD (U) North East India regional coordinator Danis Ngullia.

It may be recalled here that on Sunday, angry over denial of BJP ticket, Jadumani's workers announced dissolution of BJP Mandal Khangabok Kendra, Morcha, Lotus Club, Kamal Sakhi and other committees and said they would support whichever party he joins.
