Dedicated Covid hospital likely to operate soon

Imphal, August 30 2021: The 200-bedded dedicated Covid Hospital, which is being constructed at Kyamgei with the technical assistance of the DRDO, is almost complete and likely to be inaugurated soon.

Chief minister N Biren, education minister S Rajen and Keirao MLA and state planning board deputy chairman L Rameshwar along with officials of department concerned inspected the ongoing construction work of the dedicated Covid hospital on Monday.

After inspecting the hospital, CM Biren told media persons that construction of the hospital is almost complete and the only thing left is giving the finishing touches.

The dedicated hospital will have new equipment and there is possibility of inaugurating the hospital in two weeks' time, he added.
