Assam Rifles holds Swacchta Hi Seva campaign

Imphal, September 29 2024: Assam Rifles conducted a cleanliness drive as part of the nationwide 'Swacchta Hi Seva' campaign at Maibam village, Bishnupur district on Sunday.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the drive was aimed at promoting cleanliness and environmental sustainability, resonating with the ethos of the Swacch Bharat Mission.

Locals and AR troops participated actively in the event, ensuring the cleaning of the surrounding areas, removing waste, and creating awareness about the importance of maintaining a hygienic environment, it said.

The release further mentioned that the event marked commitment of local community in keeping their surroundings clean and contributing to a cleaner India and dedication of the AR personnel towards the nationwide movement of cleanliness.
