MLA Robindro congratulates judo champ Linthoi

Imphal, August 28 2022: Mayang Imphal MLA and MANIDCO chairman Kongkham Robindro has congratulated 16-year old Linthoi Chanambam of Mayang Imphal Thana Man-ing Leikai on winning gold medal at the World Cadet Judo Championship-2022 .

Congratulating Linthoi on her significant achievement, MLA Robindro said that she scripted history by winning the first ever gold medal for India in Judo world championship and has brought laurels not only for the country but also for Manipur and Mayang Imphal AC.

He said that Linthoi's feat at the international event has strengthened Manipur's position as the powerhouse of sports in India.

He also expressed hope that the young Judoka would bring more laurels for the state and the country in near future.
