Imphal, January 27 2023: Break Free, the tribute band of British rock band Queen, has arrived here to perforin the first ever live on stage tribute show to Queen at Luwangpokpa Multi Sports Complex, Luwangsangbam on Saturday.

Event management companies Mayflos, Gigbox India and Mumbai based E365 are co- hosting the show.

Addressing a press conference in this regard at Hotel Imolesh, here, on Friday, Mayflos client management head Matt said that the live show of the Italy-based Break Free rock band will also spread the awareness on HIV-AIDS.

Stating that Mayflos and Gigbox India have been coordinating in hosting various events, he informed that they are planning to host live shows of international renowned bands in Imphal every year.

Main vocalist of Break Free Rock Band, Giuseppe Malin-conico expressed excitement on the prospect of performing for the first time in the country in Imphal.

He said that he grew up listening to the numbers of British Rock Band Queen's vocalist Freddie Mercury.

He founded the tribute band to the Queen in 2016 and named it Break Free after the famous number "I Want to Break Free" .

He further informed that they have a series of similar tribute concerts in Germany, Switzerland, France, Malaysia and Mexico after Saturday's show in Imphal.

He urged the people of the state to visit the live show and enjoy the concert.
