Gita Sloka Pratiyogita organised at Yaiskul

Imphal, August 25 2024: In connection with its 60th foundation day celebration, Vishwa Hindu Parishad Manipur Zilla organised a Gita Sloka Pratiyogita (Gita Slok recitation competition) at Yaiskul Ngakraba Leirak Gurumayum Mandap on Sunday.

The recitation competition was judged by Sanskrit Acharya Sijagurumayum Goura-mani Sharma, Kakchingtabam Brajamani Sharma and Leihaothabam Saratchandra Sharma.

In all, 38 students participated in the competition.

The first and second places were won by Kendra Vidyalaya students Krishi Yangoijam of Thangmeiband Maisnam Leikai and Rajkumar Satyam of Ningthoukhong Gopinath respectively, while the third place was bagged by Eastern Star Higher Secondary School student Thokchom Chanchan Devi of Khangabok Tangkha Leikai.

All three winners and other participants were presented with-cash prize and certificate each.
