Meet stresses accelerating jab rate

Thoubal, August 21 2021: With an aim to accelerate the pace of vaccination against Covid-19 in Thoubal, the district administration and All Thoubal District United Clubs" Organisation (ATDUCO) organised a discussion programme at DC Thoubal conference hall on Saturday.

During the discussion attended by ATDUCO president Rajen Loitam, secretary Sanathoi and its members among others, speakers highlighted that vaccination is the only way to make Manipur a Covid-19 free state.

However, the spread of misinformation and rumour about the Covid vaccine is causing apprehension among the people and as such there urgent need to make the public aware about efficacy of the vaccine, they stressed.

On their side, the participants pitched for increasing the inoculation rate through house-to-house vaccination drives and thorough awareness about the vaccine in areas with low vaccination rate.
