Imphal, July 20 2022:
Dhanamanjuri University Teachers' Association (DMUTA), Imphal has resolved to boycott all forms of classes both offline and online including PG, PhD and research related activities of Dhanamanjuri University from July 21 during a general body meetingheld today at DM College of Arts.
It may be noted that DMUTA had demanded compulsory absorption of all teachers and principals as faculty of DMU by a single order latest by July 20 .
According to a statement issued by DMUTA Imphal, the Association arrived at this resolution following the State Government's failure to meet their demands before the set date of July 20 .
During the meeting, DMUTA also resolved to continue with the duties/activities related to the ongoing UG examinations in the interest of the student community while adorning a black badge to symbolise their protest.
The statement added that DMUTA will launch more intense forms of agitation if their demands are not met even after the boycott.
