Imphal, December 18 2024: Assam Rifles organised "A Day with the Company Commander" in Nambol, Bishnupur district, on Wednesday.

The event which drew over 75 students from St John School, Phoijing, Nambol, was aimed at promoting camaraderie, sportsmanship, and awareness on the vital role of Assam Rifles in the region.

According to a PRO IGAR (S) release, the event featured a range of engaging and educational activities, including tree plantation drives and display of weapons, which garnered enthusiastic participation from the students.

Key highlights included an energetic dog show and the opportunity for children to gain hands-on experience with weapons used by the Indian Army, said the PRO .
