BJP has failed to provide fertilizer in time: CPI MSC

Imphal, July 13 2021: Communist Party of India, Manipur State Council alleged that the BJP led Government has failed to provide fertilizers and proper irrigation facilities to the farmers.

CPI MSC said in a statement issued today that despite BJP leaders assuring the farmers for adequate supply of fertilizer, the farmers are unable to procure fertilizer these days.

The statement added that today farmers of Lamsang AC had gone to the Agriculture office of Imphal West, but were not given fertilizers even after they had already submitted a copy of AADHAAR and phone number to the office earlier.

The farmers who were given a token had visited the office to collect the fertilizer, but after a long wait in the scorching sun, they were informed that no fertilizer could be distributed as there was none in stock.

CPI MSC demanded immediate action against the concerned officials who had failed to provide fertilizer to the farmers.
