Kakching, August 10 2024: A 15-day long Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, which is being organised by.

Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association, Kakching under the aegis of Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, began from Saturday at Anandasing Yoga and Nature Cure Research Hospital Hall, Kakching Machin Manao Chinglak.

The opening function of the campaign being held under the theme 'Vikshit Bharat Ka Mantra Bharat Ko Nashe Seh Swatantra' was attended by Kakching district social welfare officer (DSWO) Nikita Thangjam as chief guest and Kha Manipur Yoga and Nature Cure Association, Kakching chief functionary Dr Mayanglambam Rajkumar as president.

At the beginning of the event, a two-minute silence was observed in honour of the people who have sacrificed their lives for the cause of protecting the territorial integrity of Manipur.

A pledge for 'Nasha Mukt Bharat' led by Kakching DSWO Nikita Thangjam was taken by the attendees during the programme.
