AR conducts medical camps in Tengnoupal, Chandel

Assam Rifles, in collaboration with the district health authorities of Tengnoupal district, conducted a medical camp at Kwatha village on Saturday during which essential medicines were also distributed to community members, ensuring quality healthcare to the villagers.
According to a statement of PRO IGAR (S), a dedicated team of doctors and healthcare professionals from Assam Rifles and the district health authorities worked in unison to deliver comprehensive medical care, addressing a wide range of health needs.
A total of 150 individuals benefited from the medical aid provided during this camp.
Simultaneously, Assam Rifles organised another medical camp at Phaisanjang village in Chandel district, extending essential healthcare services to the local community.
A total of 83 individuals received free health check-ups, screenings, and consultations on-site during the camp, informed the PRO.
As part of the camps, the medical teams conducted thorough health screenings and provided personalised advice to attendees, emphasising the importance of regular check-ups and timely medical care.
Additionally, an awareness session on cancer prevention was held, focusing on early detection, warning signs, and lifestyle choices that can help lower cancer risks, the PRO added.
