NE postal region to aid delivery of Presidential invitations

Imphal, August 08 2024: North East Postal Region-II has announced its integral role in meticulous delivery of invitation cards for the esteemed "At Home Reception" to be hosted by the President of India on the occasion of In -dependence Day 2024 at the Rashtrapati Bhavan.

In a release, North East Postal Region-II stated that recognising the paramount importance of the invitations, they are committed to ensuring delivery with highest level of precision and care.

A dedicated team has undergone specialised training to handle the task, and implemented enhanced protocols to guarantee that each invitation reaches its intended recipient intact and on time.

For the first time, the invitations will be extended to achievers from various fields including commoners who have made extraordinary contributions in their respective domains such as doctors, AYUSH practitioners, agriculturalists, teachers, energy conservation champions, and beneficiaries of various government schemes including PM Awas Yojna, SVANidhi Yojna, PM Vishwakarma Yojna, and PM Ujjwala Yojna, it added.
