Assam Rifles observes World Health Day

Imphal, April 08 2024: Assam Rifles of IGAR (S) organised a lecture on health, hygiene and lifestyle diseases along with medical camps to observe World Health Day at Phundrei village in Thoubal district and at Sajik Tampak, Joupi, Sehlon and Kovang villages in Chandel district from April 5 till 7 .

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) said that the medical health camps played a crucial role in addressing the healthcare needs of the people living in remote areas.

A total of 550 people including men, women and children were screened by the doctors, said the PRO, adding that as part of the same endeavour, AR conducted a medical camp apart from distributing.
