Kakching, October 02 2024: In continuation with observance of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 Campaign by Kakching Municipal Council (KMC) since September 17 under the theme 'Swabhav Swachhata Sanskaar Swachhata', KMC and District Hospital, Kakching conducted a free health check-up camp (Safai Mitra Suraksha Shivir) for the Council's sanitary workers and drivers at the KMC conference hall on Tuesday.

According to KMC caretaker chairman Naorem Sanjitkumar, the sanitary workers and drivers availed consultation service on varied health issues and medicines provided to the needy along with administration of tetanus shots.

A total of 40 male and 10 female sanitary workers were also screened by the medical professionals with those suffering from serious cases referred to CHC, Kakching.
