Imphal, June 30 2022: A combined team of CDO, Moreh and 5 AR arrested a man with two assault rifles from a Jungle near S Moljol village in Moreh sub-division on Thursday.

According to a source, based on reliable information, an operation was conducted by the combined team in the general areas of S Moljol and Govajang villages during which one individual later identified as Jangminhao Kipgen (36) son of (L) Lhunsei Kipgen of Govajang village was arrested from the nearby jungle and two assault rifles - one MK-33 assault rifle along with one empty magazine and one MA-3 assault rifle along with one empty magazine seized from his possession.

The arrested person and seized weapons have been handed over to OC, Moreh PS for further action, informed the source.
