'Thambal', rally, house campaign held

Tbl/Kak, December 30 2021: Election Committee of BJP intending candidate in Wangkhem A/C M Priyananda Sharma on Thursday launched Thambal campaign at Yairipok Bishnunaha Awaang Leikai.

The launch programme was attended by BJP intending candidate M Priyananda Sharma,, Election Committee advisor K Ibochou Singh and president M Ramananda Sharma as presidium members.

Speaking at the event, Priyananda pointed out that he decided to con test the upcoming election with a firrn belief of bringing change in the constituency.

Around 200 people from Haokha, Kiyam, Charangpat, Singa Phouden and Bamon Leikai, who joined BJP recently, were also feted on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Janata Dal United i(JDU) intending candidate in Kakching A/C Naorem Nabachandra organised rally and house campaign in Pallel.

The rally flagged off from Leimangai Ching passed through several areas of Pallel where house campaign was also carried out.

Speaking on the sidelines, Naorem Nabachandra assured of availing potable water, constructing proper roads and drains if he gets elected as an MLA of the A/C .

He continued that he will execute project to draw water from Sengmai River to provide irrigation water for agriculture activities.
