'Meira Paibi Houdokhiba Numit' observed

Thoubal, December 29 2024: As in other part of the state and outside, Athokpam Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (AMPAL) and Nupi Samaj observed 44th Meira Paibi Houdokhiba Numit at Thoubal Athokpam Keithel on Sunday.

The observance held to mark the start of 'Meira Paibi' or women vigilante movement in the state was attended by Nupi Samaj advisor Khundrakpam Indu Devi, UCM former president Sunil Karam, CADA advisor Hijam Priyokuamar, AMPAL advisors Athokpam Sobita Devi, Leimapokpam Leiren Devi, Yumnam Premabati Devi, Leimapokpam Bino Devi, Ningombam Bino Devi, Yumnam Bimola Devi, Asem Memtombi Devi, Athokpam Memori Devi, Athokpam Rani Devi, Athokpam Rashmani Devi, Asem Sanatombi Devi, Thoubal And Kakching District Apunba Lup convener Jotin Waikhom and other CSO leaders as presidium members.
