Open debating competition held at Manipur Press Club

Imphal, September 29 2024:
Manipur Youths and Students' Union and All Meitei-Pangal Youths' Association jointly conducted a state level open debating competition on the motion, "People's lack of understanding is continuing the drug menace in Manipur society", at Manipur Press Club on Sunday.
The competition participated by 30 individuals and moderated by Manipur Human Rights Commission (MHRC) former chairperson Khaidem Mani was held with Union president Wahengbam Tanu Chanu, AMPIA president Hafizuddin, social activists Kiren Yendrenbam and Mayengbam Amutombi Singh as presidium members.
Md Ishrad Ali and Md Talah Vuiya won first and second place respectively, while Sinam Rafi Khullakpam and Thokchom Roshan Singh bagged the third place with 15 students selected for the consolation prizes.
