Building catches fire at Mahabali

Imphal, December 23 2024: A building located next to 'Dolly Momo' at Mahabali Kabui Khul caught fire on Monday evening.

According to a release by Manipur Fire Service Imphal Control Room, around 6.23pm Monday, report was received that the third and fourth floor of a building belonging to one Dr Poufullung Gangmei s/o (L) Shamu Gangmei had caught fire, suspected to have started from the kitchen.

Immediately, six Fire Services vehicles including one Water Tender, Foam Tender, two Water Bowser and Simon Snorkel arrived under the supervision of the Fire Services director and managed to extinguish the flames, thereby preventing it from spreading to adjacent houses and causing extensive damages.
